Welcome to my tribute pages to a famous mouse. Mickey Mouse has always been a favorite Disney character of mine. Even as a little girl, I can remember toting around my favorite Mickey toys. Fantasia is my number one Mickey movie, which was also near and dear to Walt's heart, and is arguably Mickey Mouse's best work. The Sorcerer's Apprentice is the third and most famous segment in Disney's feature film, Fantasia, and the only returning segment in its sequel, Fantasia 2000. Based on the poem of the same name by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and the musical piece by Paul Dukas, it stars Mickey Mouse as the sorcerer's apprentice. I love classical music and the music in Fantasia is absolutely stunning!
"There's a terrific power to music. You can run any of these pictures and they'd be dragging and boring, but the minute you put music behind them, they have life and vitality they don't get any other way." - Walt Disney
Jen's Fantasia was brought to life in 2005 because of my love for all things Disney and dedicated to my two very special children...Tanner & Skye, who like many kids and adults around the world, continue to be happily entertained by the characters created by the Walt Disney Company. They bring laughter and joy to all, and I am sure that Walt himself would be proud of the legacy that he left behind. Click the links below.
