April 11, 1912 - The TITANIC leaves Queenstown (with a few more passengers and mail) at 1:30 pm, and begins her journey across the Atlantic Ocean headed for New York.

On April 10, 1912 at around noon, the TITANIC leaves the dock at Southampton for her maiden voyage with over 2,200 passengers on board. Her first stop is in Cherbourg, France, and then on to Queenstown, Ireland (now known as Cobh).
